About the work

The Spirit
Behind It

My work draws inspiration from water and music. The colours derive from sunsets reflecting on water — melancholic varied hues, waves, and how all colours connect with each other. The sharpness draws from music, notably jazz, that contrasts a dynamic articulation of quick, sharp drums and saxophones with the raspy voices. Creating a symphony of vivid, dynamic pieces that feels ethereal and fluid.

I am a mosaic of all the art and memories cultivated from travels around the world, along with anime — notably Ghibli Studios artwork. Initially starting with watercolour, acrylic, and mixed media before jumping to digital painting in 2021, where I first started streaming the process of learning a new medium.

Now if you're ever curious, join me on Twitch — you might find me playing games with our community or studying new artists and their techniques. And if I'm not there, I'm probably trying to venture to new art scenes.
